And so, the little idea sprouted right out of the ground when the time was just right in perfect divine order.
I am so grateful for this journey I have taken to get here. I officially launched my business and website on January 21st, 2025. It is my first time in this lifetime to start my own business, so this all has been a completely new experience for me altogether. What a steep learning curve this all was, but alas we are here at the start of yet another new journey! I am stepping into a whole new chapter of my life now!
This idea to start my own Reiki business started up in my mind around a year or so after I took my Usui/Holy Fire I&II class. Before that, I had always viewed Reiki as a self-healing modality and tool for personal use and to use for my own animals/family. So when this idea formed, I decided to become an Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master and successfully accomplished that a little over 2 years after taking the first 2 levels. I dreamed and envisioned what starting my own Reiki business could be like, but alas it never came to fruition due to fear, self-esteem issues, a lack of confidence, and a lack of courage. As that idea died down in me, another path miraculously opened its doors.
Angelic Reiki
While in a massage session with my energetically intuitive massage therapist Nancy Lashinski, a message was delivered through her to me. The message was that Archangel Metatron was waiting to work with me. I wondered about that after the massage session and went about my day. I then searched up Metatron’s name in a little pocket of time where I had sat down and what came through the search was the websites for Angelic Reiki, along with the information that this type of Reiki had been channeled through the Archangel Metatron. I remembered that I had come across this type of Reiki around a year prior, but was told by my Higher Self and Spirit Team that I could not learn Angelic Reiki that year. Well, once I searched up Metatron, I found an Angelic Reiki workshop with 2024 dates that I would be able to attend. I was given the go ahead to take this workshop in London by my Energetic Guidance Team and it is in this way that I was given the opportunity to become an Angelic Reiki Master Teacher in a 9 day accelerated full system workshop with my Master Teacher Jayn-Lee in the UK in November of 2024.
Manifesting of My Business
During this workshop, I became inspired once again to start my own Reiki business. Throughout the time leading up to this 9 day workshop and the time during the workshop, I had been working on my self-esteem and building up my confidence. A huge milestone for me leading up to this workshop was in releasing everything to do with victim mindset and consciousness within myself. As I did this inner work, I began to feel like I really could start a successful Reiki business of my own. I tapped into and felt what it would feel like to actually bring this business into the world. When I would start doubting the process or my journey my Higher Self and Energetic Support Team would always bring through an encouraging message, and most often many encouragements throughout my day. I began to feel what it would feel like if I allowed myself to receive and feel abundant! I released so much heavy baggage I had been carrying such as guilt and grief. Most importantly, I was given a message that I can no longer hide myself and my light, that I had important missions of service to accomplish. I was told that my community, those who really get me and will love me for who I am, would only be able to find me when I was shining my light and authentically myself. So, I pushed through and persevered and found the courage within to get started on the rememberance of my duty to serve humanity and my Soul’s mission for being here at this time, instead of ruminating about my own insecurities.
The Spark of a New Idea
When I got back to the Seattle area from London, I found myself working through emotional baggage that came up to be released. What I thought was going to be the start to the creation of my business got pushed back, delayed. Despite this, I researched and researched whenever I could about how to start a business, specifically a Reiki business. Around mid-December, I woke up with an odd thought, I had woken up with the name of a Hypnotherapy teacher I had known about from a previous metaphysical store that I went to often before it closed down. I felt this strong urge to check her website, and what I discovered shocked me. That day, all links on her website were down with the exception of the link to her Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression course! Of course, I immediately took this as a sign, and within a few days, I was signed up for this course, with the newly made intention of becoming a Hypnotherapist in addition to offering Angelic Reiki!
The Change in the Creative Process
On a sleepless evening on the 31st of December, New Years Eve, I felt inspired to take some action. I had waited this long for this business to manifest, so I told myself why wait any longer?
So, I got things moving by filing the paperwork to create my LLC and got started with creating my website. At first, it was a bit tough to figure out the Squarespace website designing interface and the provided tools, but once I got the hang of it, it became mostly a fun and creative process of design and copywriting! The creation of my business suddenly became fun for me and I think that is where my focus and energy changed from “I don’t know what I’m doing and I’m so anxious about this journey” to “lets have some fun and see where this all goes.” I spent the next 48 hours working through New Years Day almost continuously working on my website design.
Divine Timing
As the next few days came in, I was both riding a huge wave of creative energy and starting to build up a big ball of stress. I researched endless amounts of topics on the creation process of a small business and entrepreneurship. I looked up legal and financial information I never previously thought I ever would have needed. I started needing additional stress relievers, but through some little pauses in the process and continual reminders that I could do this and to trust the process & Divine Timing, I got to the end of the creation process! I received help and guidance in the exact timing when I needed it. I was led through my intuition and inner knowing to look up Squarespace website editors who charged by the hour, something I previously had no idea even existed. That search led me to Squarespace Marketplace, where I found a web design firm I resonated with. So, I hired a professional to edit and do some redesigning work for my website and I love how this joint effort turned out (Thank you Caely!). This effort landed me at my projected and intended business and website launch date of January 21st, 2025 right on time.
Gratitude
This was a completely foreign territory for me to step into, and wow what a steep learning curve starting a small business was, but I am grateful for the way this journey took shape and I am so excited for where this new venture will take me. It was a lot for me to learn but I am grateful that my Spirit Team and all energies who support me and my Soul guided me through. This is a whole new chapter of my life and I am reminding myself to keep my heart open and receptive to what’s to come while anchoring myself in this present moment. I want to take a moment to thank all the teachers and healers who have shown up for me along my journey to get to this point where I’m stepping into a new world and new life. Thank you Nancy Lashinski for kick-starting this business venture with your message from Metatron, and thank you to my mom who supported me financially to help me realize this dream of mine. Thank you to my cat, VelV, who acts as my mirror and always knows how I am feeling before I do myself, and thank you to Caely from Nav Creative for your help editing and refreshing my website to make it look and feel beautiful like it does now. Thank you to all who congratulated me in the birth and manifestation of my creation. I am grateful for this life and all who have assisted me to arrive at my new starting line.
