I’m Eileen! Warm welcomes if you have stumbled upon my blog or made it into this little part of my world & creation of mine, aka my website!
Introduction
I suppose this blog is the area of my website where I don’t need to sound so professional and can just jot my thoughts down the way they come. Well, I thought that since this is the very first post, I should probably introduce myself. I am Eileen Cai, Empath, Intuitive, Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master, Angelic Reiki Master Teacher, and currently a Hypnotherapist in training. My Hypnotherapy training should be complete at the end of March 2025 and then I will be able to obtain my license, which I’m super excited about! In my freetime, I love pulling Oracle Cards for myself or making Oracle Card Spreads for self readings. I also love watching Pick-a-Card readings from a select few Oracle & Tarot Card readers on Youtube. I love them because they provide the validation for how I’ve been feeling or give me motivation to keep growing and moving along my own journey. I especially love those readings that help empower me and encourage me to choose myself and love myself always.
Also, I love to write! It isn’t always apparent in my daily life, as I am often found procrastinating on my writing projects. However, recently as I started building my website and trying out my hand at copywriting, I rediscovered the exhilaration of putting words down on “paper" and just letting words flow and flow out of me. I started feeling that itch in my fingers to keep writing, and so this blog was born! Here’s to keeping on top of blogging, God please give me the motivation and self-discipline to write regularly (God meaning all that is aka the Divine/Universe/Creator or however you see it to be). When I do get into the flow of writing, I can literally just sit and write or type all day long. Words just start falling out of me and they keep coming out. I can literally go on and on with all sorts of topics. It really churns those creative juices and sparks all the ideas in me. I end up all sorts of inspired, which of course I do whenever I enter my flow state.
The Upcoming Year
As it is currently the beginning of 2025 as I am writing this post, I wanted to share how I am starting off my year. My personal choice is to celebrate three new years in total, which are the Gregorian Calendar New Year taking place on the first of January each year (the most obvious of the New Years), the Lunar Calendar New Year which I know by the Chinese New Year (one I have always celebrated due to my Chinese heritage & ethnicity), and lastly the astrological New Year taking place at the end of Pisces season when we enter the Aries season (ending one astrological year cycle and entering the next one). I so love astrology, however even though I have been into astrology since my high school days, I still very much view myself as a beginner when it comes to the topic of astrology (it can really be studied for lifetimes, that’s how deep this area of studies is!), so maybe don’t quote me on anything astrology. The first (Gregorian) New Year has passed on January 1st this year, the second (Lunar) happens soon on January 29th this year, and the third (astrological) happening on March 20th this year.
Community & Kindness
I have chosen to implement three keywords, one for each of the New Years I celebrate, to welcome this upcoming year ahead. These words will be the themes I’ve chosen to focus my energy towards this year. The first word came to me just after January 1st: Community. It occurred to me that I have stayed isolated and too independent for way too long (that is a story for another time). This year, I aspire to find my incarnated Soul Family and Soul Tribe on Earth. For that to happen, we must truly be authentically ourselves and openly shining our Lights, so that we may recognize the other when we come across each other. The second word came to me out of the blue one day: Kindness. Quite synchronistically, both times I have visited Chinese food restaurants that give fortune cookies at the end of the meal, the fortune cookies I opened held messages regarding the theme around kindness. I suppose it is also a thematic year for acts of kindness and humanitarianism, as it is both a personal year 9 for me and Gregorian Calendar 9 year in numerology this year.
And so, I ponder upon the first two words of my new year: Community & Kindness
I await my final word of the year to show up for me, and so it shall come in Divine Timing like everything always does…
